Five manuscript volumes with text and colour paintings - a chronicle of the Korean embassies to Japan in the 18th century - possibly copied from an earlier handscroll, not earlier than 1805, with compilation attributed to Watanabe Koku. Green paper covers and red title slips with black lettering. The paintings are in excellent condition and the pages have slight insect damage. Provenance: Ozu Keiso (`Nisho Bunko'). Refer to `Kokusho somokuroku' (1963-72, vol 5, page 695) for other known copies
